Hot new British actor Jamie Campbell Bower recently dropped by the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Central London to check out the new Gibson Zoot Suit SG. Jamie Campbell Bower's latest role sees him playing a vampire Caius in Twilight New Moon the hotly anticipated follow up to the hit movie Twilight alongside Robert Pattinson. Twilight New Moon opens in cinemas nationwide on 20th November.

The Boxer Rebellion, will be the next act to perform the exclusive Samsung Bebo Nights live at the Gibson Guitar Studio. The London based group, made up of vocalist Nathan Nicholson, guitarist Todd Howe, Adam Harrison (bass) and Piers Hewitt (drums), started their career when they caught the eye of music mogul Alan McGee who signed the band to his Poptones label and released their debut album EP. Poptones’ later collapsed but their debut album began to live a covert, underground life building an army of devoted fans which resulted in sold out gigs across Europe.

Europe Guitarist John Norum Promotes February 2010 UK Tour Dates and New Studio Album, Last Look At Eden

John Norum lead guitarist with Europe, Sweden’s biggest selling rock band dropped by the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Central London to promote the release of “Last Look At Eden” their eighth studio album and to announce the bands February 2010 UK tour dates. Europe are best known for their 1986 smash anthem “The Final Countdown,” but the Swedish rockers have returned with a heavier bluesy, hip-shaking metal sound which has put them firmly back on the rock scene.

Gibson Guitar, the world’s premier musical instrument manufacturer and home of the cherished Les Paul guitar model along with the Gibson Foundation has announced a very special tribute to the late, great Les Paul to be held at the historic Ryman Auditorium, former home to the Grand Ole Opry, in Nashville on Thursday, November 19, 2009. The tribute concert program will be free to the many fans of Les Paul and Gibson Guitar. Les Paul, the innovator and inventor who passed away at 94 years of age this past August was known throughout the world as the man who created multi-track recording and the father of the electric guitar. Many musicians pay homage to Les Paul and credit their careers and musicianship directly to him.

Gibson Guitar Supports “Helping The Heart of Music”

Gibson Guitar were proud supporters of “Helping The Heart of Music” a celebration marking the 75th Anniversary of the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. A host of stars performed on the famous Royal Albert Hall stage which saw a very special headline set by 70’s super group The Faces. The Faces were one of the best loved, most influential, British bands of all time. They evolved from the Small Faces in 1969 after Stevie Marriott left to form Humble Pie.

The Les Paul Sound: The Gaslight Anthem Rocks Nashville’s Mercy Lounge

Friday night (Oct. 23) New Jersey natives and folk-punk rockers The Gaslight Anthem delivered a blistering set at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge. Opening their show with the song “High Lonesome,” singer Brian Fallon sent the capacity crowd into a frenzy with the Counting Crows quoted lyric “Maria came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand.” Gaslight followed with about 18 more fist-pumping songs of blue-collar heartbreak, performing nearly every song from their critically acclaimed sophomore release The ’59 Sound.

Tim McGraw Has Launched His New Album, Southern Voice

Tim McGraw has launched his new album, Southern Voice, released on October 20, 2009, with a series of national television appearances. On Oct 12th he performed on "Late Show with David Letterman" and played an exclusive "Live on Letterman" webcast concert from the Ed Sullivan Theater and on Friday, October 16th, McGraw returned to the "Late Show" for a performance and an interview with Letterman.

Stereo Decade Hit the Road to Support Teenage Cancer Trust and be in with a Chance to Win a Gibson Les Paul Junior Guitar

Upcoming four-piece, Stereo Decade, will be embarking on a unique tour this October. Between Monday 19th and Friday 30th October they will visit Teenage Cancer Trust’s 10 units around the UK, playing acoustic gigs for the young patients during the day. By night they’ll be playing venues in each city including two special gigs at Manchester Hard Rock on 20th Oct supporting Jersey Budd, and Shepherds Bush Empire supporting The Rileys. Each gig will raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
