The Boxer Rebellion, will be the next act to perform the exclusive Samsung Bebo Nights live at the Gibson Guitar Studio. The London based group, made up of vocalist Nathan Nicholson, guitarist Todd Howe, Adam Harrison (bass) and Piers Hewitt (drums), started their career when they caught the eye of music mogul Alan McGee who signed the band to his Poptones label and released their debut album EP. Poptones’ later collapsed but their debut album began to live a covert, underground life building an army of devoted fans which resulted in sold out gigs across Europe.
Over the last 4 years, the band has worked hard to give back to their enduring supporters, and returned to record their second album Union. iTunes US and UK were so blown away by lead track of this long awaited album, they made “Evacuate” their worldwide Free Single Of The Week earlier this year - an unprecedented move made even more remarkable given the band were, and remain, unsigned. “Union” led the band to become the first unsigned band to reach the top 100 (#88) of the US billboard charts on digital sales alone.
