Gibson Chairman and CEO Henry Juszkiewicz and Ace Frehley, original member and lead guitarist for rock band KISS, performed on-stage to a sold-out crowd at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio last Tuesday as part of the week–long American Masters Series tribute to Les Paul and the guitar that bears his name.
Juszkiewicz kicked off the night with a Q&A session and an hour-long presentation and discussion on the history of the company and its guitars. Ace Frehley later joined Juszkiewicz on-stage and reminisced about how the Gibson Les Paul guitar has always been a very important part of his music. Gibson and Epiphone have produced signature model Les Paul model guitars bearing Frehley’s name.

The event ended with an informal jam session between the two participants and a thunderous round of applause from the standing room only group of fans who attended. The American Master Series tribute to Les Paul continued throughout the week at Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and culminated with a special concert Saturday evening.
