Nell Bryden’s distinctive and emotionally expressive voice lends a timeless feel to her unique brand of modern-Dixie. Weaving elements of bluegrass, American jazz standards and retro soul into her songwriting and performances, Bryden’s inspiring vocal style can jump from moments of laid-back lilt to passionate plea, only to follow by shaking things up with a straight-ahead roadhouse boogie.

A consummate traveling musician and free musical spirit, Nell expanded her musical heritage heading for Europe and over the last two years has played over 350 shows including four tours of the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Germany. She has also supported KT Tunstall and lined up opening slots for the Counting Crows on her UK tour this July.

Nell’s latest album, Second Time Around is currently getting radio play across the US as well and various European commercial stations.
